Intermediary Classifieds Role

Buzz Pune is an online directory connecting buyers, sellers, and service providers across Pune. We do not own, inspect, ship, or warranty listed products.

Authentic Listings Only

We enforce zero tolerance for fraudulent listings, advance payment scams, counterfeit goods, or duplicate spam postings.

Pune Legal Jurisdiction

All agreements, transactions, and disputes are governed under Indian jurisprudence with exclusive venue in the courts of Pune, Maharashtra.

1Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally enforceable contract between you (“User,” “Buyer,” “Seller,” or “You”) and Buzz Pune (“we,” “us,” or “our”), governing access to and usage of buzzpune.com and associated web applications.

By browsing, registering, posting a classified listing, or communicating with sellers on Buzz Pune, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

2Marketplace Role & Intermediary Status

Buzz Pune operates exclusively as an online communications and classifieds directory under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. Our core functions comprise:

  • Providing categorized classified directories for rentals, physical goods, automobiles, coaching classes, doctors, and local home services across Pune.
  • Facilitating direct phone and WhatsApp contact between prospective buyers and sellers without intermediary brokerage commissions.
  • Providing featured boost packages and promotional advertising slots for local businesses and independent service professionals.
Disclaimer of Physical Custody: Buzz Pune does NOT own, inspect, manufacture, store, transport, guarantee, or warranty any item, vehicle, rental property, or service advertised by users on the platform. All contracts of sale or service are executed directly and solely between the respective buyer and seller.

3User Accounts & Verification

Users posting classifieds or booking business promotions must register with a valid email address and mobile phone number. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your login.

4Classified Postings & Content Guidelines

Sellers must provide accurate descriptions, genuine photographs of the actual item being sold or premises offered, honest disclosures of item condition (Brand New, Like New, Good/Used, Fair) or service tier, and truthful pricing in Indian Rupees (INR).

5Featured Boosts & Commercial Memberships

Sellers may purchase promotional boost packages or subscription tiers to feature their listings prominently. Payments are executed securely via authorized payment gateways (Razorpay). Fees paid for advertising periods already rendered are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

6Direct Communications & Safety Rules

When interacting with buyers or sellers via WhatsApp or phone:

  • Inspect in Person: Always inspect goods, verify vehicle registration documents, or check premises physically in Pune before concluding any purchase.
  • Meet in Safe Locations: Schedule meetings in daylight hours and in public, well-lit Pune neighborhoods (e.g., Baner, Kothrud, Viman Nagar, Hinjewadi).
  • No Advance Deposits: Never transfer advance booking fees, courier token money, or UPI QR code scans to unverified strangers before meeting in person.

7Prohibited Items & Banned Services

The following listings are strictly prohibited and subject to immediate removal, account termination, and reporting to law enforcement:

Firearms, weapons, fireworks, and hazardous chemicals
Prescription medications, unapproved drugs, and narcotics
Counterfeit, cloned, or stolen electronic devices
Adult, sexually explicit, or escort services
Pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing, or fake job fee offers
Endangered wildlife, wildlife animal parts, or protected flora

8Intellectual Property & Trademarks

The Buzz Pune brand, trade name, logos, UI designs, code, and database compilations are protected under copyright and trademark laws. You retain ownership of your user-uploaded classified images, granting Buzz Pune a non-exclusive license to display, resize, and publish them in connection with the platform.

9Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Buzz Pune, its founders, directors, employees, and technology partners shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from transactions conducted between users, item quality discrepancies, or unauthorized access to user accounts.

10Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Buzz Pune and its officers against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or legal expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, infringement of third-party rights, or unlawful classified postings.

11Governing Law & Pune Jurisdiction

These Terms and all marketplace relationships are governed by the substantive laws of India. Any legal dispute or proceeding arising out of or in connection with Buzz Pune shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
